What is Pocket Casts?

Pocket Casts is a podcast app that contains a collection of thousands of podcasts. Podcasts are not very popular in Kenya and I have no idea why. My colleague introduced me to the app and for the few months I have been using it, I have become addicted to the podcasts it contains.

For those who do not know what podcasts are, they are shows (usually audio). They have someone speaking, usually interviewing another individual. The podcasts generally have a theme that attracts people to them and they are released on a regular basis. They are usually like a well-organized radio show. However, unlike radio, you can listen to it on demand and at your convenience.

Why should I download Pocket Casts?

The advantage that Pocket Casts offers you as a Kenyan Professional is that you get all your podcasts in a very organized. It syncs your play progress across all your devices.  As a new podcast convert, I must say that I had been missing out on the great depth of information that is in the brilliant minds of the people who produce these podcasts.

The app is paid and I can say its the best KSh 400 bob I ever spent.
